Hi, I'm Alan!

I'm a scientist, an engineer, and an immigrant.

Originally, I came to the United States from Almaty, Kazakhstan to study physics but I quickly became attracted to the hands-on nature of engineering.

When I began my studies at UC San Diego, I found a passion in programmable circuits, such as those ran by Arduino and Raspberry Pi. In the blink of an eye, I became captivated by the methodology of artificial intelligence, which kick-started my specialization in Machine Learning and Controls during my undergraduate studies and subsequently led to me graduating from UC San Diego with a Master of Science in Intelligent Systems, Robotics and Control.
